Llanidloes Green Fair - October 20-21st 2007

This is an absolute must amongst autumnal green fixtures. The Fair is focusing on sustainable lifestyles, with renewable energy systems, sustainable building methods/materials, local food, cooking demonstrations, children's activities. There will be music making, talks and demonstrations throughout.

An inspiring line-up of speakers has been rounded up, including George Monbiot, George Marshall of COIN, Patrick Holden of the Soil Association, Author Colin Tudge (So Shall we Reap), Peter Harper of CAT and Molly Scott-Cato, the social economist.

Llanidloes is a small market town in Powys, mid Wales. The main acitivities of the fair wil take place in Great Oak Street in the town centre.

For those who wish to forgo the CAR, National Express Coaches stop in the town itself.
